Team

David Lebreton co-founded Designers Unit in 2018. He is one of the agency’s senior creative directors and is also responsible for the firm’s international development. Trained as an industrial designer, he co-founded the design firm studio 5.5 in 2003 before going on to work as an exhibition designer, where he developed his signature clear, elegant style that is the hallmark of clear communication through design.

Emmanuel Labard co-founded Designers Unit in 2018 and is one of its senior creative directors. Trained as a graphic designer, he worked for cultural institutions on their visual communications for fifteen years before expanding his practice to apply graphic design to space, architecture, and digital arts. He has always been an advocate for sober, sophisticated design that is committed to meaning and context.

After working for ten years for the creative agency Vandejong in Amsterdam, Lucie Pindat joined the Designers Unit team as artistic director when the agency was established in 2018. She is very involved in the agency’s development strategy, from engaging with clients to understand their ambitions for their project in all its complexities, to providing creative direction and managing the graphic design team.

A graduate of the École Camondo in interior architecture and product design, Juliette Bâcle worked with David Lebreton for several years before joining Designers Unit when it was founded in 2018. As the firm’s go-to person for exhibition design, she brings all her creative energies to this field, managing the team of exhibition designers throughout excellent in project execution.

A graduate of ESAT in interior architecture and exhibition design, Mathilde Daguzan joined Designers Unit in 2018. With her multi-disciplinary expertise, especially in eco-design, alternative materials, and project management, she has been the lead for the agency’s London office since 2023.

After earning her degree from the Nantes Atlantique School of Design in spatial and urban design, Réjane Le Gall worked for several years as a wayfinding programmer before joining Designers Unit in 2022. Working at the intersection of client orders and creative proposals, Réjane provides significant expertise in the field of wayfinding for the agency’s clients.

Frédérique Foucher joined Designers Unit in 2019 and is responsible for all of the agency’s administrative operations. She works with the directors to prepare tenders and submissions. Frédérique is the primary point of contact for Designers Unit’s clients and partners for all accounting and billing questions throughout the life span of projects carried out by its creative teams.

Mélanie Boutet joined Designers Unit in 2021 after working for several years at a firm specialising in exhibition graphic design. She works in close collaboration with the exhibition designers on complex museography projects. A graduate of the École Estienne in graphic design and typography, her precise eye and attention to detail provides harmony and order to these collective undertakings.

Stéphane Toque joined the Designers Unit team in 2020 after earning his degree at ESAD Amiens in graphic design. He is refining his style at the agency and is acquiring a solid mastery of project management in the process. He works in all areas of graphic design.

After earning her degree in spatial design from the Nantes Atlantique Design School, Eva Poussier worked for firms in London, Tokyo, and Paris, notably at the Louvre Museum. She joined Designers Unit in 2020, bringing a wealth of experience and unique style with her.

Trained in industrial creation at ENSCI les Ateliers, Hugo Le Guen joined Designers Unit in 2021 as an exhibition designer. He works mainly on museographic engagements, and highlighting the heritage of historical collections.

Raphaëlle Bonneau joined Designers Unit in 2022. A graduate of ECV Paris in graphic design and creative typography, she has a great sensitivity to harmony and balance in her design.

A graduate of HEAR Strasbourg in graphic design, Ambre Quemin joined Designers Unit in 2022. She works on a broad range of projects, to which she brings her generous, highly experimental style of design.

A graduate of LISAA Rennes in interior architecture and industrial design, Valentin Dufacteur joined the team at Designers Unit in 2022. Precise and rigorous, he expresses his creative and technical expertise in the firm’s wayfinding and exhibition design projects.

Laura Galzin joined Designers Unit in 2023 as an exhibition designer. A graduate of ENSA Paris-La Villette in architecture, she specialises in the use of spatial design as a narrative tool.

After graduating from the École Boulle in product design, Marguerite Alexandre Brasseur spent a year at the Mobilier National in residence. Following this, in 2023, she joined Designers Unit as a product designer, working on signage and scenography. She is particularly interested in the aesthetic qualities and technical challenges of materials.

After graduating from the École Bleue with a degree in cultural and event scenography, Louise Lemesle sharpened her eye through a variety of experiences in scenography, design and architecture agencies. In 2023, she joined Designers Unit, where she cultivates her taste for strong scenographic gestures in the service of unique atmospheres.
